If you’re an actor and a big Walt Disney fan, then readying yourself to a Disney Channel audition will probably be a big deal for you, don’t you think? I mean, if Disneyland (or Disney World – depending what coast you live on) is your favorite place to go to when taking a trip, then as an actor or actress in the entertainment business you probably would want a Disney Channel audition.
When seeking out a Disney Channel audition, you might be interested in voice over work or you might want to seek out a part for one of their one-hour drama series on the Disney Channel. A lot of great talent got their start by seeking out a Disney Channel audition. Especially as a teen actor, just like Zac Efron, who got his start on the Disney Channel with the “High School Musical” series. So, if you want to take a shot and a Disney Channel audition for the next big Disney series about to go into production for the Disney Channel, the best thing to do is to get your agent or manager to look into the right audition at the Mouse Channel for you. The competition is stiff no doubt and boasting that you are a big Disney fan won’t exactly put you into a small group of talent applicants, but if you give it your all, that is the best mind-frame you can put yourself into when seeking out to a Disney Channel audition.
When you do a Disney Channel audition, no matter what the project is you are going out for, you have to treat it like any other audition, big or small. You have to show them your confidence and that you are prepared for the role you are seeking when you are trying out for a Disney Channel audition. Being prepared is the most important part of the process, regardless of the part you are trying to book. And your passion for the Disney franchise and all their history wouldn’t hurt as well. I’m sure most every candidate seeking out to a Disney Channel audition will show the casting directors or producers or directors (whomever is holding the audition) their love for the Disney history and legacy, but that doesn’t mean you should show them your passion for the Mouse House any less.
