What is an AuditionAudition is a part
a talent perform in order to get a role. Audition is trial performance
that allows casting directors or people who can asses a talent, to evaluate
an artist’s work or level of talent. Audition is conducted live
as well as on videotape.
Some auditions involve performing
a script that the actor is not familiar with. In a music Audition, a musician
may be asked to read music at various levels of difficulty. In a musical
theatre audition, the performer may be asked to sing something in the
genre which is related to the musical theater show. In a dance audition,
a dancer might be asked to learn a new choreography, rather than showcasing
