Courtney Love Surrenders on Assault Charge

Courtney Love surrendered to police Friday for allegedly assaulting a 32-year-old woman with a liquor bottle, authorities said
Love, 39, turned herself in at the police department's Wilshire station and was booked on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon, Officer Don Cox said in a statement
Prosecutors have said the felony charge stems from an April 25 incident at the Los Angeles home of former manager Jim Barber
She is scheduled to appear in court July 9 for arraignment
