Non-Actra. Director: Alexandra Seay. This site specific, experimental journey fuses absurdity and reality as an Employer, ‘Warner’ and his employees try to decipher the day’s events. Customers have been lined up for hours and are now buying everything they can. One employee reports, ‘they’re literally crawling up the walls’. A change is occurring and an apocalypse approaches.

Half way through, the play starts to repeat itself like a ‘broken record’, finishing previous unfinished thoughts, answering pending questions, clarifying relationships and adding to the bizarre state of the world in which history often repeats itself.

It is not only the world, in which these characters exist, that appears crazy but the characters themselves have lost control of their lives. There is a cycle that people stick too, because it’s safe or easy or addictive - but it stops one from reaching potential, progression - the ability to accept and move on.

The apocalyptic undertones hint that a change is coming and will erupt this spinning reality.

There is indeed an element of absurdity and an even stronger element of reality.
