There are roles for four women and five men in the play. All of the ages cited in the character descriptions are “playing ages” and there is some flexibility in casting. The play is set in New York (mid-Manhattan) so accents are not required except that, as written, Helga speaks with at least a trace of a German accent and both Vanelli and Hoke are obviously from Brooklyn.
