Clear Space is looking for strong singer-dancer-actor types because the show is fast-paced and demanding. Saturday rehearsals (10:00 a.m. to 2 :00 p.m.) begin on May 20, then five day-long rehearsals (3:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.) will lead up to tech week (July 9-13). The show plays at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center for four shows in two nights (July 18 & 19, 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. performances), then plays at the Schwartz Center in Dover on July 21st at 7:00
Everyone who auditions must prepare a song and bring the sheet music to the audition. (To order music online, visit the following sites: Sheetmusicplus.com, Sunhawk.com, MusicNotes.com or Amazon.com. To purchase from a store, visit Keyboard America or B&B Sound on Route 1.) Musical Director, Doug Yetter, will also provide several musical theatre song collections that may be used at the audition. A movement audition will be held immediately following the vocal audition, so those auditioning should also dress to dance
