Please write Spring Acting Internship in the subject line of your email. Interns will be cast in our Spring 2006 Looking Glass Forum, a festival of new works by upcoming female playwrights and directors, to be held in June. Interns will also receive free monologue coaching, as well as an acting/movement class each week.

Interns will do office work including script reading, finding and clipping articles from pertinent publications, event planning, mailing list maintenance, filing, weekly cleanup, accounting assistance, grant research, correspondence, fundraising activities, marketing, restocking and continued organization of: props, costumes, fabric, lumber, and even set and costume construction if necessary. In other words--everything! Office work is done in a pleasant and laid back environment where you will make connections and friends.
The time commitment is from January 23 through June 25, 2006. Interns will be required to work in our offices for two 4-hour sessions per week. The mandatory acting/movement class will be held Monday evenings from 6-9:30 p.m.
