The play takes place in the 1930s, and MRS. SCROOGE is running a sweatshop. Two of her employees the Cratchits are expecting a child. A familiar tale with many twists and a strong nod to the “original” tale of Christmas. Produced originally at Signature Theatre in Alexandria VA. Music is traditional.
Please prepare a brief song by Gershwin, Porter, Rodgers & Hammerstein – more traditional Broadway music, Christmas carols, or music of the 30s.Please bring a Picture and Résumé, stapled together.
