Bay Area Improv Theatre will be holding auditions for the group in August, 2005.
There will be three opportunities for you to come and play with us:
Saturday, August 13 10 am - 1 pm
Wednesday, August 17 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Saturday, August 20 10 am - 1 pm
We're easy-going and playful. This isn't like a normal audition where you sit for an hour and hope to do great for the two minutes you are in front of the auditioneer. (Is that even a word?)
We are going to play games and do scenes. We just want to see:
What you already know about improv. (Short form experience is good. Longform, even better!)
How good you are at listening and taking direction.
Can you create, and stick to, believable characters?

The midnight hour proved profitable for Frodo and the gang 2 million total first-day grosses for "The Two Towers
